The Audrey Hepburn Award for Contributions to the Health and Welfare of Children was created in 1993 as a tribute to this esteemed and special friend of the honor society. Ms. Hepburn’s dedication and tireless work on behalf of children worldwide is honored by the honor society through recognition of a nurse who has made a significant contribution to the health and well being of children.
