Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award
The Sigma Theta Tau International Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award was established in 1992 to recognize individuals whose good works have enhanced the human condition globally. This award has only been bestowed three times─ first to the late Audrey Hepburn in 1992 for her work with UNICEF; to Former First Lady Rosalyn Carter in 2001 for her involvement in mental health; and to HRH The Princess Royal Princess Anne in 2003 for her tireless dedication to health care causes.
