Eligibility Membership is not a qualification for all awards. Members of STTI board of directors or staff are ineligible. Self-nominations are accepted for some awards. STTI board of directors and STTI staff cannot submit or support nominations.
Judging Qualified judging panels representing strong talent and expertise are appointed.
If you wish to become an awards judge, please submit your interest in VIProfile. You may not submit a nomination and judge the same award. Also you cannot be a part of the judging process if you have the same affiliation of any nominees within the award you are assigned to judge. We can assign you a new award to judge if this conflict of interest would occur. STTI board of directors and STTI staff cannot serve as judges or head judges.

View supporting document definitions. Award entries must be in English. Once you begin a submission, you will receive an e-mail giving you the submission ID# and password. These can be used if you need to access your submission at any time in the future. Once the deadline (1 March 2013) for submitting an award nomination has passed, an e-mail will be sent from STTI to confirm receipt of the award submission. Only complete submissions will be judged. Submissions that are incomplete after the deadline will be withdrawn from the system and will NOT be reviewed.
Group Entries All communications will be through the designated primary contact. It is the primary contact's responsibility to communicate award information to fellow study contributors. Group recipients receive only one award; however, additional awards can be ordered at the group’s expense. Exception: Practice/Academe Innovative Collaboration Award receives two identical pieces of hardware.
Notifications Notifications will be sent via letter of the judges’ decisions by 1 July 2013. Primary contact will be the only person receiving communication from headquarters. The primary contact is responsible for notifying all team members and co-recipients. Exception: Notification for the Chapter Key Award will occur by 17 September 2013 via e-mail notification.
Presentation All awards will be presented at the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International 42nd Biennial Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, on 16-20 November 2013. Specific award presentation information will be mailed to each recipient.

*The fee structure for members outside the U.S. will be set according to World Bank classifications based on per capita income designated as low, middle and high. All fees paid to headquarters, either by individual members or chapters, will be calculated in U.S. currency. The fee structure will be determined by the nominator's residence. Founders Awards fee will be based on the first nominator's residence. |
