Kappa Tau uses a wide variety of media such as our Web site, Facebook, e-mail, printed materials and various displays to communicate with members and the community. Our communication is used to promote chapter membership, maintain contact with current members, inform members of coming events and reach out to new members. We let non-members know not only what Kappa Tau is and does but what STTI is all about. Kappa Tau has been very visible in the local community sponsoring joint events and at an international level, where we support nursing students for their work in Bangladesh and Australia. Many of our events carry continuing education units. As a result of our communication efforts, we have increased our membership and both the chapter’s and STTI’s visibility.
