The 2nd biennial Showcase of Regional Excellence will display outstanding accomplishments aligned with the honor society’s mission and vision and recognize regional excellence by chapters and consortia. The accomplishments will be celebrated and shared during The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International’s Leadership Academy, 25-27 September 2008 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, at the Showcase of Regional Excellence Luncheon on Friday 26 September 2007 from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm.
A brief summary of the success is required and should represent innovative and cutting-edge work reflective of the honor society’s mission – “The mission of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International is to support the learning, knowledge, and professional development of nurses committed to make a difference in health worldwide.” The work must have occurred between 1 June 2006 and 1 June 2008. Deadline for submission of form to your regional designee is 15 June 2008.
