Jackie Dienemann PhD, RN, NEA-C, FAAN - Professor, UN C Charlotte has been a nurse educator for 25 years at George Mason University, Johns Hopkins University and Georgetown University before UNC Charlotte. Specialty areas are community health and nursing administration, graduate curriculum and teaching using distance education. Chaired committee to develop health services. Published graduate text in nursing administration and past president of CGEAN. Program of research and publication in domestic violence program development and outcomes. Presently on DV Advisory Board for City of Charlotte and NC Coalition Against DV. Liaison with two hospitals for magnet journey and mentoring nurses in evidence based practice. Leader on NCNA credentialing committee for Hallmarks of a Healthy Workplace recognition program for nursing workplaces of excellence. Mentor to School of Nursing and faculty in development of a program of research and publication.
Beverly Roberts PhD
Lois Marshall RN, PhD - Leadership Program Consultant Nurse. A nurse educator for 30 years, she received her PhD from the University of Miami, with a focus on higher education, curriculum design and outcomes assessment. Dr. Marshall’s research expertise is on test taking strategies, outcomes assessment and evaluation related to the NCLEX-RN Examination, as well as nursing curricula. She has been preparing graduates for the NCLEX-RN with her own preparation course for 25 years. Dr. Marshall is an expert on curriculum design, program planning, and nursing education as an art and science, guiding and preparing novice faculty members for their numerous roles as nurse educators. Her clinical area of expertise is pediatrics across all levels of care. She does presentations at national and international conferences promoting research and the development of abstracts for research presentations and grants for STTI, as well as on the leadership programs of STTI. She mentors members in the preparation of abstracts for presentations, as well as the preparation of grant submissions, particularly for the STTI small grants program.
