Kathleen Thimsen MSN, CWOCN, RN - Leadership program consultant. Thimsen is a full-time public health faculty member at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Edwardsville, IL. Previous experiences include: 30 year practice in wound, ostomy and continence nursing; 25 years in private consulting practice. Clients include medical device companies and pharmaceutical corporations. The scope of her expertise and knowledge of the care delivery system, forensic, legal and reimbursement aspects of health care, and opportunities for nursing role development is evident by leadership awards from MARPHLI at the University of Illinois School Of Public Health. Thimsen serves as a director on numerous boards on a local and national level. Memberships includes: WOCN, the International Association of Forensic Nurses and the America Medical Alliance.
