Nursing Program Director/Instructor and Nursing Instructors

The Pierce College District has two community colleges in Pierce County, Washington (Pierce College Puyallup and Pierce College Fort Steilacoom). The District is seeking applications for a tenure track faculty/administrative assignment as Nursing Program Director/Instructor and three tenure track Nursing Instructor positions.
The Nursing Program at Pierce College Puyallup opened in fall of 2004 and provides education leading toward an Associate Degree Nurse (ADN) and prepares students to become Registered Nurses. Forty students are currently enrolled in the program, with a projected Fall 2008 full-time enrollment of 40 to 50 students. The program also offers students the opportunity to articulate with the University of Washington’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing completion program.
