Associate Chief Nurse for Education & Research

Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for establishing, administering and evaluating nursing education programs including new employee orientation, continuing education, affiliations with academic institutions and trainee programs. Will work collaboratively with leaders of other departments, services and senior management to strategically plan, implement, evaluate and improve educational and research programs for Nursing to meet operational goals of the organization. Will work within a Shared Governance environment to help facilitate evidence-based practice and nursing clinical research.
Requirements:
Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field and 5 years of practice/ research and/or management of an educational program.
