This program will focus on content to assist faculty achieve career goals that lead to promotion and/or tenure. A combination of online educational courses, webinars, and face-to-face workshops will focus on strengthening knowledge and skills in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service. In addition, the program will identify strategies for the successful creation and completion of a professional portfolio to document the nurse educator’s accomplishments across their career.
Experienced Nurse Faculty Leadership Academy
This specialized leadership academy is designed for experienced faculty with at least seven years of full-time employment in a faculty role.
During this 12-month leadership development experience, you will create an individualized progression plan to increase your leadership acumen and develop or sharpen the skill sets that are essential to success in a faculty leadership role.

Emerging Educational Administrator Institute
This program will target faculty aspiring to be administrators or those who are in their first administrative position. Delivered electronically and via an intensive face-to-face educational institute experience, it will include content focused on internal and external roles, strategic planning, budgeting, legal concerns, evaluating faculty, developing donors, accrediting and regulatory bodies, and political issues.
Nurse Educator Mentoring Program
Developed by experts in leadership and mentoring in education, innovative approaches to support mentors, mentees, and the mentoring relationship in nursing education will be offered.
