“I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to attend the 25th International Nursing Research Congress. My attendance to the conference and the integration among migrant workers in Hong Kong were among the most memorable experiences in my professional life.

Maraming Salamat po! Words of thanks, million times uttered, aren't enough to express my gratitude.

— Erlinda Palaganas (Iota Sigma Chapter) Philippines

Chapter Giving Club

For every grant awarded in the fiscal year ending 30 June 2014, seven applications were declined due to lack of funding.

Your chapter can help us increase funding available for grants, subsidies, and emerging initiatives by making an annual gift of US $1* per member in support of research, leadership, or the future.

* US $.40 per member for chapters in middle-income countries and US $.20 per member for chapters in low-income
  countries

Recognition

Participating chapters will be recognized prominently at the biennial convention and will also receive the following recognition.

·         A banner on chapter’s webpage on the Circle
·         Inclusion on the Foundation Chapter Giving Club recognition web page
·         Chapter presidents and House of Delegates representatives will receive a ribbon at the
biennial convention and at other STTI events when possible.

Chapters that make two or more gifts during the current biennium will also be recognized at the 43rd Biennial Convention in 2015 as part of President Hester C. Klopper's Gratitude Circle.

Chapter Giving Circle

A giving circle is a group of individuals who pool their charitable donations and collectively decide where to grant the money in order to make a more significant philanthropic impact.

The Delta Theta Chapter group is wonderful story of success. Since it began in 2011, this giving circle has supported six members from India, Mexico, Pakistan, and the Philippines to attend the biennial convention or research congress.

Chapter Philanthropy Resource Guide

The Foundation board of directors and Chapter Philanthropy Education Committee provide the Chapter Philanthropy Guide to assist chapters in developing and implementing their philanthropy plans. We believe that philanthropy is something that all chapters can achieve, no matter their size. The beauty of philanthropy is that it can be designed to fit your community’s needs and your members’ capabilities. We invite you to use the online resource to instill or refresh the spirit of philanthropy in your chapter and its members.
