Giving Opportunities

A guide to meeting your personal philanthropic goals

The Sigma Theta Tau International Foundation for Nursing supports the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International by actively raising money to fund research and scholarship, leadership and the honor society’s future. These funds support programs and services benefiting members, the profession and the global populations they serve. Contributions, no matter what size, are welcome. Your support will make a difference!

(for five consecutive years with accumulative gift of US $10,000)

Listed in annual report and on foundation web site, thank you note from board member, receives stewardship reports, Virginia Henderson Fellow lapel pin, holiday and birthday cards, recognition in honor society publications as a new VHF, name engraved in glass at honor society headquarters upon completion of gift and invitation to the biennial Heritage Society dinner.

Sigma Theta Tau Fellow (STTF)

 

US $4,000

(for five consecutive years with accumulative gift of US $20,000)

Listed in annual report and on foundation web site, thank you note from board member, receives stewardship reports, Sigma Theta Tau Fellow lapel pin, holiday and birthday cards, recognition in honor society publications as a new STTF, engraved 12”x12” brick paver at honor society headquarters upon completion of gift and invitation to the biennial Heritage Society dinner.

Philanthropic Caring Society

 

US $10,000

(for five consecutive years with accumulative gift of US $50,000)

Listed in annual report and on foundation web site, thank you note from board member, receives stewardship reports, ongoing updates about the program that your gift supports, Philanthropic Caring Society lapel pin, holiday and birthday cards, recognition in honor society publications as a new Philanthropic Caring Society member, name engraved on plaque at honor society headquarters upon completion of gift and invitation to the biennial Heritage Society dinner.

Other Opportunities

In addition to annual gifts the foundation also recognizes donors who designate a planned gift valued at US $50,000 as a Billye Brown Fellow. Those donors who have contributed US $100,000 or more as a cash gift and/or irrevocable planned gifts over a lifetime are recognized as Pillar Society members.
