Maternal-Child Health Nurse Leadership Academy
(MCH NLA)

 The 2012-2013 MCH NLA cohort
has been selected.

If you're interested in future cohorts, contact the International Leadership Institute at leadership@stti.iupui.edu.

MCH NLA is a community of current and emerging
maternal-child health nursing leaders
.

The MCH Nurse Leadership Academy is an exciting, intense and career-changing experience for nurses and nurse midwives who are committed to leading health care practice changes in maternal-child health. The purpose of the MCH Nurse Leadership Academy is to develop the leadership skills of maternal-child health nurses and nurse midwives in positions of influence in a variety of health care settings. The academy will prepare maternal-child health nurses and nurse midwives for effective interprofessional team leadership as they strive to improve the quality of health care for childbearing women and children up to 5 years old.

Through the partnership between the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International and Johnson & Johnson Corporate Contributions, the MCH Nurse Leadership Academy has become the premier leadership development opportunity for nurses and nurse midwives dedicated to influencing maternal-child health care practice, policy and outcomes.
