Honor Society of Nursing Announces 2009 International Award Recipients
The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) honors nurses and others for their contributions to professional excellence with the 2009 International Awards for Nursing Excellence. These awards recognize achievements in the fields of technology, media, chapter excellence, research and leadership.
“Nurses and others nominate friends and colleagues for these awards as a way of recognizing and celebrating excellence,” says STTI president Carol J. Huston, RN, MSN, DPA, FAAN. “Through the 2009 International Awards program, STTI members and chapters, as well as supporters of the nursing profession, continue the tradition of honoring individuals and groups who espouse the honor society’s core values.”
