Nurse Researchers Inducted into
International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame
Honorees’ celebration and conversation to take place at
STTI’s 2013 nursing research congress in Prague

Indianapolis — Nineteen nurse researchers will be inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International’s (STTI) International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame at STTI’s 24th International Nursing Research Congress in Prague, Czech Republic, 22-26 July 2013.

Created in 2010, the International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame recognizes nurse researchers who have achieved significant and sustained national or international recognition and whose research has improved the profession and the people it serves.

The award presentation is sponsored by Wiley-Blackwell.

“This year’s International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame inductees come from six countries and 11 U.S. states,” says STTI President Suzanne Prevost, PhD, RN, COI. “Their research projects will be shared through the Virginia Henderson International Nursing Library online so that nurses everywhere can benefit from their discoveries and insights into patient outcomes, health care policies, and much more.”

“Wiley is proud to continue its support of this prestigious award for another year,” says Griselda Campbell, associate director of nursing publishing for Wiley. “We welcome the 19 inductees for 2013 who are conducting some of the finest research in the field. We would especially like to congratulate those inductees who have a close connection to our journal publishing program. Susan Gennaro, editor of the Journal of Nursing Scholarship, and Sally Wai Chi Chan, editor of the Journal of Nursing Interventions, are both outstanding editors and leaders in the field.”
