STTI is offering a US $10,000 Global Nursing Research Grant. Annual funding for this grant is provided by the Sigma Theta Tau International Foundation for Nursing’s Patricia E. Thompson Giving Circle donors. The application deadline is 1 May.
Creating Healthy Work Environments is a three-day event that focuses on creating and nurturing healthy relationships within your organization. Early registration ends 20 February, so register today.
The International Nursing Research Congress will be in Prague, Czech Republic, this year. This congress is an excellent way to learn about cutting-edge research in the nursing profession as well as to network with fellow nurse researchers. Register early for this exciting event.

JNS to publish groundbreaking issue on genetics/genomics
This quarter's issue of the Journal of Nursing Scholarship, published by Wiley-Blackwell and STTI, will focus on genetics/genomics and the impact on nursing. It features an evidence review by researchers from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This issue will be available online beginning 1 February.

The International Awards for Nursing Excellence recognize achievements in the fields of technology, media, chapter excellence, clinical partnership, research, and leadership. The deadline for nominations is 1 March
STTI credit card support for research surpasses US $900,000
Since the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) credit card was introduced in 2001, more than US $900,000 has been generated in support from Bank of America for the STTI Foundation for Nursing’s Research Permanent Fund, helping STTI to award more research grants to deserving nurses.
