The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) has been an international organization for more than 30 years; but throughout those years, the overwhelming majority of our members have been Americans. Since 2009, we have made a concerted effort to become a more “intentionally global” organization. Today I will share a few of the indicators of forward movement with this globalization agenda.
During 2012, our membership peaked at 131,980 with 486 chapters spread across 24 countries and members residing in 86 countries. Read more
MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR membership
International award deadline is 1 March
The International Awards for Nursing Excellence recognize achievements in the fields of technology, media, chapter excellence, clinical partnership, research, and leadership. The deadline for nominations is 1 March 2013.
International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame inductees announced
Nineteen nurse researchers will be inducted into the International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame. The ceremony and a conversation with the honorees will take place at the 24th International Nursing Research Congress, which takes place 22-26 July 2013 in Prague, Czech Republic.
