THE PRESIDENT'S message

Thanksgiving is one of the most significant holidays for U.S. and Canadian nurses and their families. The holiday occurs in October for Canadians and in November in the U.S. This time of year was selected to show gratitude for a bountiful agricultural harvest. Similar holidays or festivals also occur in Germany, Japan, Liberia, The Netherlands, and some parts of Australia. In other countries, a variety of traditions exist to express gratitude for the harvest. Continue reading more from Suzanne.
