STTI Connect

October 2013
Experience membership locally, regionally, and globally

Suzanne PrevostSuzanne S. Prevost, PhD, RN, COI

During the past few weeks, I have been busy preparing for the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International’s (STTI’s) 42nd Biennial Convention, set to take place 16-20 November in Indianapolis, Ind., USA. We are expecting more than 2,000 STTI members, delegates, and supporters to join us for four days of cutting-edge presentations, organizational business, networking, and celebration of the organization and the profession we all love.
I am always appreciative of the insights and expertise of the professionals I meet through our honor society. Many of our members are expert clinicians, educators, researchers, administrators, and leaders in health policy. And while I can never replicate their experiences, I can certainly benefit from the ideas and information they so willingly share. Peer-to-peer exchange of ideas and information is one of the most important benefits of my STTI membership. Those networking opportunities are enriched by the expanding global reach of our organization. Read more.
