Prevost will lead the 125,000-member, global organization for the next two years and will call on members to “Give Back to Move Forward” with technology. STTI elects new board members.
Suzanne S. Prevost, PhD, RN, COI, begins her term as the 29th president of STTI. Get-a-Memberrecognizing excellence.
Through the Chapter-Get-a-Member and Member-Get-a-Member campaigns, you have the opportunity to identify nurse colleagues and friends who exemplify this vision of nursing excellence. International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame nominations open until 7 December.
The International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame recognizes STTI members who are nurse researchers with long-term broad national and/or international recognition for their lifetime work and whose research has impacted the profession and the people it serves. Recognize a friend or colleague with a nomination before the 7 December deadline. Find more information on the International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame. Submit your abstract for the 23rd International Nursing Research Congress today.
Open opportunities are available for submitting abstracts for the 23rd International Nursing Research Congress. Research and evidence-based practice abstracts are currently being accepted. The submission deadline is 7 December 2011 Additional information and how to submit your abstract can be found online at the 2012 Congress webpage.

Apply now for the Maternal-Child Health Nurse Leadership Academy.
The MCH Nurse Leadership Academy is an exciting, intense and career changing experience for maternal-child health nurses and nurse midwives. Applications close on 16 January 2012. Please visit the International Leadership Institute webpage for more information.

With its continued mission of supporting the advancement of nursing research, the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International is currently accepting applications until 1 December 2011 for international and collaborative nursing grants. Grants are made possible through contributions to the Sigma Theta Tau International Foundation for Nursing’s research endowment.
