What is Biennial Convention?

1. a gathering of individuals who meet at an agreed place and time in order to discuss or engage in some common interest. The most common conventions are based upon industry or profession. Professional conventions focus on issues of concern to the profession and advancements in the profession.*
2. an assembly of persons met for a common purpose; especially: a meeting of the delegates of a political party for the purpose of formulating a platform and selecting candidates for office.* |

39th Biennial Convention Highlights More than 2,000 nurses from around the world met in Baltimore, Md., USA to participate in the honor society’s 39th biennial convention, which was themed Vision to Action: Global Health Through Collaboration.
