What is Biennial Convention? con∙ven∙tion/ n. [kuhn-ven-shuhn] Latin convention, to come together
1. a gathering of individuals who meet at an agreed place and time in order to discuss or engage in some common interest. The most common conventions are based upon industry or profession. Professional conventions focus on issues of concern to the profession and advancements in the profession.*
2. an assembly of persons met for a common purpose; especially: a meeting of the delegates of a political party for the purpose of formulating a platform and selecting candidates for office.*
