General Information
  • Registration fees include sessions only. Meals will be the responsibility of the attendee.
  • Student rates apply only to full-time students in an undergraduate program. A valid student ID may be required at check-in.
  • Membership rates apply to those who have paid their membership dues for the 2010 year.
  • Inactive members who renew their membership can register at the member rate. Renew your membership.
  • Nonmembers can register for the Leadership Summit at nonmember rates.

Payment

  • Payment must be received in United States dollars.
  • VISA, MasterCard, Discover and checks are accepted in the online registration system.
  • All checks must be made payable to Sigma Theta Tau International.
  • When registering online and paying by check, check must be postmarked by the applicable registration deadline to receive any discounted rates.
  • Registration will not be processed and confirmed until full payment is received.

Cancellation

  • All cancellations must be received in writing (letter or email).
  • If you are unable to attend, you may substitute another person in your absence at no additional charge.
  • Cancellations of registration received on or before 10 March 2010 will be refunded, minus a US $25 administrative fee. 
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after 10 March 2010.

International Attendees
New regulations require international travelers to the U.S. from countries in the Visa Waiver Program to apply for entry online as part of the new Electronic System for Travel Authorization. The program does not apply to travelers entering by land from Canada or Mexico. The authorization is valid for two years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. Authorization does not guarantee entry into the U.S.; that decision rests with the immigration official at the port of entry. Visit https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta to apply for entry. To see if your country participates in the Visa Waiver Program, visit http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/without/without_1990.html.

Participants Requiring a Company-Stamped Confirmation
For participants from countries requiring the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International ink stamp, please provide a copy of your registration confirmation to any staff member at onsite registration in Indianapolis.

Visa Letter Requests
Do you need a letter confirming your leadership summit registration to help facilitate your efforts in obtaining a visa? If so, we can provide a confirmation letter once you have registered for the leadership summit and after the payment has been processed. Once you meet these two specifications, please e-mail lsatlanta@stti.org with your full name and registration confirmation ID number. Once your information is verified, you will be e-mailed the confirmation letter for your visa application. It will take no more than 10 business days to process your request. Requests for confirmation letters must be submitted by Monday, 4 January 2009. Requests for mailed letters will be reviewed, and additional fees may apply. The confirmation letter does not guarantee you will receive a visa. Confirmation letters will only state the conference title, dates, location, payment confirmation of registration fees and that you are a presenter if applicable. If you are denied a visa, we will provide you a full refund so long as we are notified by Thursday, 28 January 2010. Attendees are advised to apply for a visa as early as possible.
