IMPORTANT! Please note, the Presenter Acceptance Policy reflects the expectations of all presenters for this event.
- Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) will supply the poster board for displaying your presentation.

- Dimensions: 3 feet (height) by 8 feet (width)

- No tables, electronics or audio/visual equipment are allowed in the poster viewing area.
- Presenters should bring ONLY Velcro® to fasten the poster to the board.
General Poster Recommendations
- Be sure that your poster attracts attention, emphasizes important points, reads easily and stimulates interest.
- Facts should be printed in single phrases or words.
- Facts can be printed on separate sheets of paper according to major headings.
- Define unfamiliar or complex terms as simply as possible.
- Use pictorial or graphic illustrations to clarify and enhance a message.
- Use typeface that is legible from six feet away.
- Use a consistent font.
- Use a minimal amount of punctuation.
- Viewer should be able to grasp the total message in five minutes.
Note: These guidelines are only applicable to the 23rd International Nursing Research Congress being conducted in Brisbane, Australia, 30 July-3 August 2012. For presentations at other meetings, please consult the website for those specific events.

Please note posters will remain up for two consecutive days. Posters are scheduled for either Poster Session 1 on Monday, 30 July and Tuesday, 31 July or Poster Session 2 on Wednesday, 1 August and Thursday, 2 August.
