Volunteer Opportunities
Regional Committee Member
Works with regional coordinator to meet the needs and priorities of the region, in areas that could include but are not limited to awards/recognition, communication, mentoring, member involvement and programs.

What you will do
Responsibilities will be determined within each region by the regional coordinator and regional team. Possibilities include:
- Communicate with chapters and chapter leaders on a regular basis
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and progress of chapters and make recommendations to the RCCC and board of directors as appropriate
- Plan special projects and events with your region
Your commitment
- Attend four telephone conference calls with regional team annually
- Attend six telephone conference calls with chapter leaders annually
- Attend regional meetings as needed
- May attend Chapter Leader Academy or Biennial Convention at own expense
Acceptance criteria
- Active member involvement in the honor society
- Knowledge and leadership experience in the honor society and in program and chapter development
- Ability to commit the necessary time to contacting chapters and serving on the committee
