Jane E. Allen

Jane E. Allen, RN-BC, MS

Jane E. Allen, RN-BC, MS is a Clinical Education Specialist for Texas Health Resources, a non-profit faith based organization with 13 hospitals in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Texas area. As an educator, Jane teaches Maternal/Child clinicals in the academic partnership program with an area Associate Degree Nursing Program. She is coordinator of the second level clinical team at THR. Jane received her ADN from Grayson County Community College, Denison Texas and her BS and MS in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University, Dallas, Texas.

Jane was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau Beta Beta-Dallas chapter in 1984. She has served chapter leadership roles from chapter social committee chair to chapter president. She remains a member of Beta Beta Chapter and is a Virginia Henderson Fellow. Jane has also served as regional committee member for 6 years and Region 6 Coordinator for four years (two terms). Jane has served on numerous task forces, and judged awards. She has been site visitor for petitioning honor society, an induction speaker, Chapter Chartering Officer, and speaker for three Chapter Leader Academies and two STTI biennial conventions.

Jane is active in the National Nurses in Staff Development Organization, serving on the task force on Simulation and education. She is a past member of the March of Dimes Dallas Board of Directors and Public Affairs Chair. Jane is certified in Nursing Professional Development by ANCC.

As the Regional Chapter Coordinating Committee Chair (RCCCC) Jane works with 15 talented regional coordinators who are working to advance chapter leader resources and communication. The RCCC is also working to increase interactivity between chapters, regional groups and headquarters.
