Chapter Key Award

Purpose

The Chapter Key Award, established in 1991, honors STTI chapters that excel in chapter-related activities such as:

  • Membership recruitment and retention
  • Publicity and programming
  • Professional and leadership development
  • Local, national, and international collaboration

Criteria

Submissions for the 2017 Chapter Key Award will include information about chapter activities from 1 July 2015 - 30 June 2017. The call for submissions closed 15 July 2017. Chapters are encouraged to work throughout the biennium to prepare their entries.

Keep an eye on the All Chapter Officers workgroup on The Circle for the 2017-2019 application form.

Recognition

The Chapter Key Award is presented each biennium at STTI's biennial convention. The 44th Biennial Convention will be in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. One chapter representative will be allowed to accept the award on behalf of the chapter. The accepting representative must have a paid registration for at least one day of the chapter awards' ceremony. Chapter Key Award recipients do not receive any complimentary registrations for the biennial convention. The chapter will be asked to provide the name of that representative when it is notified that it is an award recipient.
