Good Work in Nursing Community
The purpose of the Good Work in Nursing Community is to generate a body of knowledge regarding ways to promote excellence in the nursing profession particularly during a time of rapid change when fewer people are entering the profession and many consider leaving. This community is an affiliated project of the GoodWork Project at Harvard University.
Community members will explore the meaning of good work in nursing, work that is scientifically and technically effective as well as socially and morally responsible. Members will create a common ground and sense of identity and formulate a plan to guide the knowledge sharing process. Issues for consideration may include topics such as values in nursing, mentoring, the work environment, and shared professional development and learning.
