Permission to Use STTI Logo or Crest


If you are an STTI member, go to The Circle to download the chapter style guide and a JPEG file of the STTI logo. If you would like a vector image of the logo or crest, complete the form included in the style guide and your request will be reviewed as soon as possible.

If you are not an STTI member and would like to request use of STTI's official logo or crest, contact marketing@stti.org. In your email, provide detailed information regarding your intended use. Permission to use the logo or crest is granted on a case-by-case basis, and reasonable notice should be given. Approvals are for one-time use only.

The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International recognized
with four AJN Book of the Year awards
First place awarded in three of 19 categories
 
INDIANAPOLIS — Four books published by the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) have received 2013 American Journal of Nursing (AJN) Book of the Year awards including first place in three categories and second place in one category.
 
Toxic Nursing: Managing Bullying, Bad Attitudes, and Total Turmoil earned first-place awards in the categories of Medical-Surgical Nursing and Nursing Management and Leadership. Creating & Sustaining Civility in Nursing Education received first place in the Professional Issues category. Placing second in the Nursing Research category was Clinical Research Manual: Practical Tools and Templates for Managing Clinical Research.
 
Toxic Nursing by Cheryl Dellasega, PhD, RN, CRNP, and Rebecca L. Volpe, PhD, focuses on workplace incivility and nurse-on-nurse bullying. This helpful guide gives nurse managers and administrators concrete strategies for dealing with common employee challenges including conflict, cynicism, and unnecessary drama.
 
Creating & Sustaining Civility in Nursing Education by Cynthia Clark, PhD, RN, ANEF, FAAN, is written for nurse faculty and students. It provides a comprehensive overview of the civility and incivility that occur in education and includes practical solutions to build and maintain a positive learning environment.
 
As one of the only comprehensive reference manuals for managing clinical trials, Clinical Research Manual by R. Jennifer Cavalieri, BSN, RN, CCRC, CCRP, and Mark E. Rupp, MD, covers the essential elements of conducting clinical trials in the health care setting. It includes practical strategies for solving the logistical challenges faced by research professionals.
 
Since 2007, STTI has won 11 AJN Book of the Year awards, reflecting significant growth in the honor society’s publishing program. STTI currently has more than 70 nursing books in print with 14 new titles due for release in 2014.
 
Nurses regard the AJN Book of the Year awards as the most important designation of excellence in book publishing. The AJN is the oldest and one of the most honored nursing journals in the world.
