General Information

  • Creating Healthy Work Environments fees include official programmed events and access to the exhibitors.
  • The student discount applies only to full-time students. Student identification or proof of enrollment will be requested when you check in at on-site registration.
  • The retired discount applies to those who are no longer employed.
  • Nonmembers of STTI may register for the event at nonmember rates.
  • The member rate applies only to active STTI members who paid membership dues for the 2017-2018 year.
  • To qualify for the discounted rates, full payment must be received by the applicable registration deadline.
  • Inactive members who renew their membership can register at the discounted member rate (a value of up to US $100). If you have a question, please contact us at
  • When completing your registration form, the name you put into the system will be exactly how your name badge will be printed (first/given name and last/family name[s]). Please carefully review this information. STTI guarantees that any changes requested by the standard registration deadline will be made.
  • Credentials will not be listed on the name badges due to space limitations.

On-Site Payments

  • Should you choose to pay at on-site registration, you will be charged the applicable on-site rates.
  • All registrations and payments processed on-site will include a US $25 payment processing fee.


  • All cancellations must be received in writing (letter or email).
  • If you are unable to attend, you may make a one-time substitution to another person at no additional charge.
  • The cancellation of a prepaid registration received electronically before Wednesday, 22 February 2017 will be refunded, minus an administrative fee as follows.

    US $75 for a high income country
    US $30 for a middle income country
    US $15 for a low income country

  • Cancellation of a prepaid registration received through the mail must be postmarked before Wednesday, 22 February 2017 to be refunded, minus the administrative fee as listed above.
  • No prepaid registration refunds will be issued for cancellations that are received or postmarked on Thursday, 23 February 2017 or after.
  • If a cancellation request is received or postmarked Thursday, 23 February 2017 or after for a registration that was not prepaid, an invoice will be issued and due for the full registration fee. 

Visa Letter Requests

If you need a letter confirming your event registration to help facilitate your efforts in obtaining a visa, we can provide a confirmation letter once you have registered for Leadership Connection and the payment has been processed.

Your request will be processed within 10 business days. Requests for confirmation letters must be submitted by Wednesday, 22 February 2017. Requests for mailed letters will be reviewed, and additional fees will apply.

The confirmation letter does not guarantee that you will receive a visa. Confirmation letters state only the event title, the dates, the location, the payment confirmation of registration fees, and that you are a presenter if applicable.

If you are denied a visa, we will provide you with a full registration refund as long as we are notified by Wednesday, 22 February 2017. No refunds will be issued past this date. Attendees are advised to apply for a visa as early as possible.

For participants from countries that require the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International ink stamp, please provide a copy of your registration confirmation to any staff member at on-site registration.
