Continuing Education Contact Hours (CNE)

Sigma Theta Tau International is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

To receive contact hours for the CNE sessions offered during the 28th International Nursing Research Congress, participants are required to complete the CNE event evaluation information, including the evaluations for sessions attended. Certificates of attendance, presentation and moderating can be retrieved online after the required content is completed. The number of contact hours awarded to each participant will be based on sessions attended.

Contact hours for education activity are available for 60 days following the end of the program. The deadline to receive CNE credit is 4 October 2017.

Continuing Nursing Education

By attending the full research congress, attendees can earn up to 22.25 continuing nursing education hours.

Poster Presenter Information

While the poster boards for congress will be vertical, measuring 2340 mm tall x 950 mm wide (92 inches tall x 37 inches wide), the recommended poster size is 1189 mm tall x 841 mm wide (46 inches tall x 33 inches wide).

You are welcome to use the full board size, but please be aware that you will not be able to extend beyond your board. Only hook-and-loop type fasteners (such as VELCRO®) will be allowed to hang your poster. Using the hook, or male, side is suggested. You will need to supply your own hook-and-loop fasteners.
