There are grant opportunities available through the Sigma Theta Tau International Foundation for Nursing to assist in offsetting the cost of attending the 28th International Nursing Research Congress, 27-31 July 2017. Grant applications are due on 28 February 2017 by 5:00 p.m. EST.

Edith Anderson Leadership Education Grant

Grant amount: US $1,000
Recipient will be responsible for paying all fees associated with the 28th International Nursing Research Congress by the early bird deadline. The recipient will be reimbursed up to the amount of the grant award via US check or wire upon arrival at congress.

Criteria:

  • Applicant must be a current STTI member.
  • Applicant must find it difficult, if not impossible, to attend congress without financial support.
  • Applicant must be attending the entire event (27-31, July 2017).

Delta Theta Giving Circle Leadership Education Grant

Grant amount: US $1,000
Recipient will be responsible for paying all fees associated with attending the 28th International Nursing Research Congress by the early bird deadline. Recipient will be reimbursed up to the amount of the grant award via US check or wire upon arrival at congress.

Criteria:

  • Current member of STTI living in a middle- or low-income country (as defined by the World Bank Classifications.
  • Applicant must find it difficult, if not impossible, to attend congress without financial support.
  • Applicant must be attending the entire event (27-31, July 2017).

Preference is given to Delta Theta Chapter members whose abstracts or posters have been accepted for presentation.

Omicron Delta Leadership Education Grant

Grant amount: US $1,000
Recipient will be responsible for paying all fees associated with attending the 28th International Nursing Research Congress by the early bird deadline. Recipient will be reimbursed up to the amount of the grant award via US check or wire upon arrival at congress.

Criteria:

  • Current member of STTI living in a middle- or low-income country (as defined by the World Bank Classifications.
  • Applicant must find it difficult, if not impossible, to attend congress without financial support.
  • Applicant must be attending the entire event (27-31, July 2017).

Please note: Due to limited funds available, for all grants offered, preference is given to applicants whose abstracts or posters have been accepted for presentation. Applications that do not meet the criteria listed above will not be reviewed for these grants and no additional correspondence will be sent.
