Passport and Visa Requirements: You must have a valid passport to enter Ireland, but US citizens can enter without a visa for tourism or business stays of up to 3 months.
There is no minimum passport validity for US citizens entering Ireland. We recommend that you have a passport that is valid for the duration of your stay, sufficient funds, and a return airline ticket.
