Overview
This workshop provides an overview of the JBI COnNECT (Clinical Online Network of Evidence for Care and Therapeutics), which is a Web-based facility consisting of a range of specialist sections developed and maintained by the Joanna Briggs Institute. It provides online resources and tools to assist health professionals (general practitioners, nurses, allied health professionals, managers), aged care providers and others to utilize evidence-based information in clinical decision-making processes at the point of care. JBI COnNECT provides users with resources and tools to search, appraise, summarise, embed, utilize and evaluate evidence based information. Participants will be provided with a synopsis of the role of evidence-based practice in care and how evidence is linked to accreditation. Participants will also be shown how to navigate in each component of JBI COnNECT.
