These online programs contain multiple courses that capture meaningful opportunities for learning. Continuing nursing education (CNE) units are awarded for each package. This program examines key ethical issues, terms, concepts, and ideas that can become an everyday part of nursing practice. Health Care Leadership Program

In order to ensure quality patient care in today’s health care environment, nurse leaders are expected to exhibit a broad range of leadership skills necessary to keep job satisfaction and productivity levels high and turnover rates low. Nurse Manager Certificate Program

Created for nurses, by nurses with both academic and clinical expertise in leadership and management. Each course contains didactic content and learner activities designed to involve and engage the learner. Continuing education contact hours are awarded for successful completion of each course. When a minimum of 70 hours of content has been completed, the learner will receive a Certificate of Completion for Sigma Theta Tau International's Nurse Manager Program. Return to Nursing: A Refresher Program

Return to Nursing: A Refresher Program is designed for nurses who have been out of the nursing workforce for several years and would like to return to work in a clinical setting. This program consists of two parts: Part 1: Review of Essential Concepts and Recent Changes in Health Care contains seven interactive online courses; Part 2: Review of Systems and Common Illnesses contains 10 video presentation courses.

Surviving Your First Years as a Nurse Program

The 2015 version of this program adds new content to the existing courses in the program and includes new courses on issues relevant to today's nurse.

This program serves as a guide with practical tips and techniques which are not normally taught in nursing school. It focuses on successfully making the transition from student to professional nurse, minimizing legal risks, managing relationships, social media in health care, and other aspects of nursing which occur at and away from the bedside.
