STTI Journal Apps - JNS and Worldviews

The Journal of Nursing Scholarship (JNS) and Worldviews on Evidence-Based Nursing (Worldviews) are now accessible via mobile apps! Both journal apps work on iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch as well as Android phones and tablets, allowing you to read the latest articles on the go. With these apps you will be able to:

  • Download and read the most recent issues.
  • Be notified when a new issue is available.
  • Save your favorite articles for quick and easy access offline.
  • Browse, search, and bookmark articles from all available issues.
  • Share links to your favorite articles with colleagues and friends.

Follow the steps below to download both apps from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store:


Step 1: Download the apps.

iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch users:

Download the Journal of Nursing Scholarship app.

Download the Worldviews on Evidence-Based Nursing app.

Android phone and tablet users:

Step 2: Locate the apps on your device.

Here's what to look for on an iPhone (left) and Android phone (right):

Step 3: Tap to open and sign in.

Note: You'll need to complete this step for both journal apps.

When you first open the app, you’ll be presented with login options. First, choose “I already have access.”

Step 1

On the next screen, choose “Through my society affiliation.”

Step 2

Finally, you will be prompted for your STTI login credentials (the same username/password you use to log in to the main STTI website).

Step 3

If at first you don't see the overlay instructions described and shown in the instructions above, tap "Settings" (the gear icon in the bottom right corner of the app), then tap "Get Access."

Note:
You will NOT be required to log in each time you use the apps, unless you manually log out or reset your device.
