“Being invited into Sigma Theta Tau International is a very rewarding accomplishment. I believe being a member of this prestigious society will assist me in my future profession and as I grow as a nurse. I plan on being an active member, so one day I may be able to give back to future generations. Thank you for this opportunity."

Every Member Around the World Helping Nurses Heal, Lead, and Learn
The vision of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International is to be the global organization of choice for nursing. To make this vision a reality, additional funding is needed to support nurses around the world. This is why the Foundation has a goal to raise US $4 million to increase annual funding available for grants, subsidies, and emerging initiatives by 100 percent or more by 2020.
In order to achieve this goal, ongoing annual support is needed from every member.
Thanks to the generosity of members, chapters, and other friends of nursing we have raised more than US $2.7 million since the start of the campaign in 2010 making it possible to increase annual funding available to nurses.
